Are the Salmon here?

The past month in the Sac area has been interesting to say the least, but not productive as it’s looks like it potentially could have been. We have seen many fish push into the system but, with the low flows and high temps, getting a bite has been really difficult, and pre-spawn mortality is becoming an issue we see every time out.

With the numbers the ocean fisheries have seen, and the cooler temps on the horizon, I anticipate the bite conditions to dramatically improve and, ultimately, the season to be very good.

I have started booking my trips from mid-late September and on. If you’d like to get on the books please reach out!
